Tired of the everyday basic food routine? Are you craving for something Italian and creamy yet you need it to be super quick and easy? Save that hefty amounts of money on those fancy, high-end Eateries and make the perfect creamy Alfredo Fettuccine Pasta to perfection at your home!
This easy recipe will make the creamy fettuccine pasta melt in your mouth with the Italian herbs giving that flavor of absolute goodness.
- Chicken Breasts Strips
- Fettuccine Pasta (I used Dececco, it’s an Italian Brand available at the Carrefore Stores in KE)
- Grated Garlic
- Dried Parsley
- Chilli Flakes
- Black Pepper
- Soy Sauce
- Lemon Juice
- White Flour
- Parmesan Grated Cheese
- Parsley to Garnish
Marinate the chicken pieces in salt, Garlic, Black pepper, Soy Sauce, Chilli Flakes, Lemon juice, Oregano and Basil Powder. Marinate for 20 minutes, cut them into strips and fry in a drop of oil. Keep aside.
Boil your Fettuccine Pasta with salt water and rinse out with cold water and add a few drop of Oil to it, so they don’t stick to each other. Keep them aside.
In a pan take 1 tbsp butter, add Chopped Mushrooms, chopped garlic, Black pepper, salt and Basil powder. Fry slightly and take out in a bowl.
White Creamy Sauce
In the same pan add Butter and flour. Mix for a few minutes and add warm milk right after. Be quick in stirring so lumps don’t form. Keep on mixing. Add 1/2 cup of Parmesan and (or) Cheddar Cheese and mix till it’s a thick white creamy textured sauce. Add all your prepped spices (dried basil, parsley and Oregano), Black pepper, Chilli flakes. Now add the fried chicken pieces and mushrooms in butter sauce. Mix well. Serve and garnish with chopped parsley leaves.
